The 2024 NFL season hasn’t exactly gone the way many expected it to for the Green Bay Packers so far.
After they zoomed to a playoff spot and came to the verge of an NFC Championship Game appearance last season, many were expecting big things for them this year, but a heartbreaking 31-29 loss to the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings on Sunday dropped them to a 2-2 record.
On Monday, per Aaron Wilson, the Packers worked out two running backs: Deon Jackson and Zonovan Knight.

Jackson has previously spent three seasons in the league after he went undrafted out of Duke University in 2021.
His best season so far came in 2022, when, as a member of the Indianapolis Colts, he had 236 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown.
Knight went undrafted in 2022 after three seasons at North Carolina State University, and while he didn’t play last season, he had 300 rushing yards, 100 receiving yards and one touchdown with the New York Jets in 2022.
Even though quarterback Jordan Love missed Week 2 and Week 3 with a knee injury, Green Bay’s offense has functioned relatively well to start this season.
But while new running back Josh Jacobs has 329 rushing yards on 71 attempts to help them rank second in rushing yards and third in yards per rush attempt, they’re just 22nd in rushing touchdowns.
Love returned on Sunday and went 32 of 54 for 389 yards and four touchdown passes, although he also had three interceptions.
However, he does lead the NFL right now with 324.5 passing yards per game, albeit in a small sample space.
