The Minnesota Vikings are up in London, but even if they win the game, they may have lost a lot.

Early in the second quarter, Kevin O’Connell’s team got a big blow.

As pointed out by The Purple Persuasion on X, Aaron Jones left the game with a hip injury, and he’s not going to return.

Jones left the field and went into the medical tent on the sidelines.

He remained on the sidelines after being checked out, but it didn’t take long before the team announced that he was out for the remainder of the game.

Jones was in line for a big game, as he had already logged 29 rushing yards on seven carries and one reception for 24 yards before leaving the game.

He’s struggled with injuries over the past couple of seasons, so this will most definitely be a situation to keep a close eye on.

Notably, losing him didn’t make that much of an impact on the team’s offense.

The Vikings marched down the field for another touchdown, with FB CJ Ham taking it home from the two-yard line to give his team a then-17-0 lead.

In Jones’ absence, the Vikings will most likely lean on Ty Chandler for the bulk of the carries.

He’s clearly not Aaron Jones, but he’s been trusted with this role earlier in his career.

Hopefully, this won’t be a long-term issue, and Jones won’t have to miss any more time beyond this week, as he’s been quite efficient this season.
