TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg, who’d amassed 1.4 million followers for sharing the ins and outs of her daily on the platform, has died. She was 25.

Cameron Grigg, the influencer’s husband, shared the news on his Instagram on Saturday, Oct. 5, saying that his wife’s death was “so sudden and unexpected.”

“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” Cameron Grigg wrote, adding that the plan is for Taylor Griggs’ organs to be donated.

“While her earthly body is still here waiting to give the gift of life, we know her spirit is in heaven dancing in the streets made of gold with all her beauty and grace,” he said.

The late social media star addressed her ongoing medical issues back in August, saying that she felt like she had to “fight to live.”

Taylor Griggs added that she was going through indescribable pain, sometimes wishing that she was dead.

The TikToker said persistent stress contributed to her health issues but could not figure out what was wrong for almost a year.

In the video, Taylor Griggs said she officially received a diagnosis a few weeks prior but never disclosed exactly what she was going through.

Taylor Griggs said in the video that she got sick right after she and Cameron Griggs tied the knot.

Cameron Griggs confirmed this, saying the TikToker had been in and out of the hospital ever since the couple got married, which was in August 2023 according to another Instagram post from him.

“This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her,” Cameron Griggs wrote.

“She is the most brave and strong woman I know, and her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there,” he wrote.

Cameron Griggs added that his wife’s medical journey had affected the couple’s financial situation. A GoFundMe has been set up to help organize a celebration of life for Taylor Griggs.

“Even if you can’t contribute financially, prayers for our family are always needed,” Cameron Griggs wrote. “I love y’all. Taylor loves y’all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time.”
