Framingham man accusing of driving into Westborough police cruiser was drunk, authorities say. A Framingham man accused of driving into a Westborough police cruiser Saturday morning was drunk at the time, according to authorities.
That man is now facing several motor vehicle charges including driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police in Westborough had conducted a traffic stop on Route 9 eastbound in the area of 88 Turnpike Road around 2 a.m. when an officer noticed another vehicle heading in the direction of the traffic stop with no signs of slowing down, authorities said.
The Honda sedan collided with an unoccupied police cruiser causing what police described as “significant damage.” The driver was identified by police as Alexander Ramos-Felipe of Framingham.
Ramos-Felipe was arrested after an investigation. He will be arraigned in Westborough District Court.
